If your question isn’t answered below, please get in touch and we’d be happy to help!

Ideally we would like to become involved in discussions as soon as possible. That way we can provide you with the right advice and support before you make any key decisions. We can assist with land selection as well as whether to design and build or build from one of our own designs. The earlier we speak, the more informed a decision you can make.

We take care of all the design plans for you.  You will work with our Design and Build consultant throughout your build, alongside your builder to ensure your vision can be achieved with your budget.

Absolutely!  We welcome clients bringing their ideas as this ensures we are all working towards achieving your vision.   Show us your ideas, tell us your thoughts, and we’ll work with you to incorporate them into the final design. We also appreciate hearing what you DON’T want as that helps our design team as well.

No we take care of all council lodgements as part of our service!

On average, it takes around 9 to 12 months to build a new home with Emphasis Homes.

No, all of these costs are included in your agreed build cost.

When you invest in the Master Build 10 year guarantee, you not only get protection during the building process but also for the next 10 years.  It provides much greater protection than both the Building Act and Consumer Guarantees Act.

Yes. The balance of the warranty is transferrable for workmanship and product warranties. The usage conditions still apply for products such as whiteware etc.

When you build with Emphasis Homes, we start the entire process with your fixed budget in mind. Our process ensures that you do not go over budget unless you choose to upgrade a specific fitting or fixture – or you choose to create a bespoke element within the design.

We can provide our expertise and help you make the right selection based on the style of home you want, at no additional cost. We can show you some of our own pieces of land or evaluate other sections with you to ensure you have the right section for your dream home.

If you choose to build with Emphasis Homes, we provide all of the necessary information in our Master Build contract (RBC1). This is what you need for your mortgage provider.
